Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Contexto mobile game ("the app", "we") handles on iOS and Android. Contexto works without an account and keeps your progress on your device.

1. Information we do not collect

We do not ask for, collect or store your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location or other personal information. The app has no sign-up or login.

2. Your guesses

To score a guess, the app sends the word you typed and a puzzle identifier to our game server (contexto.switchaicloud.com). These requests carry no account, name or device identifier. Our hosting provider and Cloudflare may log technical data such as IP address and request time for security and abuse prevention; these logs are kept for a short period and are not used to identify you.

3. Data stored on your device

Your guesses, streaks, statistics and settings are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, including optional rewarded ads you choose to watch for a hint. To deliver and measure ads, Google may collect information such as your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS only if you allow tracking, Advertising ID on Android), IP address, device model, operating system and ad interactions. Your choices: on iOS you can allow or deny tracking when asked and change it in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in device settings. Users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads and can change it in the app under Settings → Ad privacy choices.

5. In-app purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We use RevenueCat to confirm purchases and restore them; it receives an anonymous app user ID and the purchase receipt, never your payment details. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

6. Notifications

If you turn on the daily reminder, it is scheduled on your device. We do not send push notifications from a server.

7. Children

Contexto is a general-audience word game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA) you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to processing of personal data. Because we do not hold personal data about you, most requests concern advertising data held by Google, which you can manage with the choices above. You can always contact us for help. 9. Changes

We may update this policy when the app changes. The date above shows the latest version.
